LETS START YOUR

Locking Journey

Welcome to the beginning of your locking journey!

Before we dive in, it's important to understand that starting this process isn't just a one-and-done deal. Here's what you need to know:

    1.    Maintenance Requirements: Once we start your locks, it's essential to keep up with maintenance. You'll need to wash your hair at least once a week and schedule a Twist renewal every 2 to 3 months. Additionally, keeping your scalp moisturized is key for healthy locks.

    2.    Hair Length Requirement: For us to start your journey, you'll need to have at least 4 inches of kinky curly hair or 6 inches of straight hair. It's also helpful if you send us a picture of your hair and your desired look beforehand.

    3.    Time Considerations: Please understand that the time required for each service varies. For example:

                           •    Starter locks typically take between 2 to 4 hours.

                           •    Interlocking can range from 5 to 12 hours.

                           •    Instant locks may take between 6 to 12 hours.

Starter Locs

Starter Locs are your choice of Comb Coils, Palm Roll, or Lock Smithing. These will take around 3-6 months to mature.

Instant Loc Crochet

Instant crochet locking, also known as instant locs or crochet locs, is a method of creating dreadlocks that mimics the appearance of matured, natural dreadlocks in a shorter period compared to traditional methods.

Interlocking Locs

Interlocking involves using a special tool, typically a small crochet hook or interlocking tool, to weave the new growth of hair back into the existing dreadlocks. This process creates a tight, uniform appearance and helps to reinforce the structure of the dreadlocks. It's commonly used for mature dreadlocks that have already gone through the initial locking process.

Straight Hair Locs

Straight hair locs, also known as locs on straight hair or sleek locs, are dreadlocks formed on naturally straight or lightly wavy hair
